Habitat People.
Habitat for Humanity brings families in need and
communities together with volunteers and resources to build decent,
affordable houses. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individuals, churches, foundations and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat homes. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving fund to build future Habitat homes.
